Renovation of the Weisswasser Viaduct, km 52.881, Mariazeller Railway

Works concern the renovation of the Weisswasser Viaduct on the Mariazeller Railway at km 52.881. The scope includes renovation and recoating of the steel load-bearing structure and railings, priming and corrosion protection of the steel structure. The timber cladding will be dismantled and disposed of, replaced with durable checker-plate cladding. Existing bridge timbers will be removed and replaced with FFU bridge timbers. Rails will be removed and reinstalled according to the track alignment. Further works include cleaning of the structure, sealing, demolition of the edge beams including suspended wings and foundation bearings, and construction of an angular retaining wall.
