Cette réhabilitation comprendra la remise en état du fût en pierre de Bormes, tout en vérifiant sa solidité, elle comportera une partie charpenterie avec la re-création d'un moulin à vent fonctionnel en partie haute (visible depuis l'espace public) mais aussi fonctionnel en partie intérieure (visites organisées du moulin à l'arrêt, en rotation et en production) Pour préserver cet ouvrage des dangers éventuels, un garde-corps en métal rouillé stabilisé sera positionné en périphérie des ailes. Enfin, pour une utilisation normale du moulin, des travaux de VRD permettront d'amener l'eau et l'électricité à l'intérieur du moulin, notamment pour assurer une rotation des ailes les jours festifs de pétole môle mais aussi pour assurer un éclairage compatible.
