Stavebné úpravy sú zamerané na obnovu asfaltobenónového krytu chodníka v úseku križovatka Južná trieda-Košťova až križovatka Južná trieda-Jantárová, ktorý je na viacerých častiach v zlom technickom stave a v miestach lokálneho poškodenia podkladu dôjde k výmene podkladových vrstiev. Súčasťou rekonštrukcie je aj bezbariérová úprava chodníkov v mieste všetkých priechodov na tomto úseku s doplnením prvkov pre nevidiacich. Sklony chodníka sa upravia pred každým vjazdom s maximálnym navrhovaným sklonom 5 % so zapusteným obrubníkom. Odvodnenie chodníka bude riešené jednostranným priečnym sklonom do zelene. V zmysle nových technických predpisov a STN je projektom riešené nové vodorovné a zvislé dopravné značenie v celom posudzovanom úseku od križovatky Južná trieda- Požiarnická až po križovatku Južná trieda-Jantárová a to oddelením špeciálnym varovným pásom (varovný pás šírky 200 mm a vodiaci pás šírky 200mm), ktorý bude realizovaný technológiou stierkovania zo studeného plastu priamo na asfaltobetónový kryt. Obojsmerná cyklistická komunikácia bude vedená v smere staničenia (smer most VSS) po pravej strane v celkovej šírke 2,5m s oddelením stredovou prerušovanou čiarou a chodník pre peších bude po ľavej strane v premenlivej šírke 2,0-2,25m. Podrobná špecifikácia stavby (stavebných objektov): podľa PD, ktorej digitálna forma bola súčasťou súťažných podkladov vo verejnom obstarávaní.
