Cycle path Landeck - construction section 3, Fischerstrasse - Neues Straessl

The municipality of Landeck intends to build a pedestrian and cycle path connection between the railway crossing at Neues Straessl and the petrol station on Fischerstrasse. The works include several slope stabilisation measures built as concrete-jointed stone block walls. The railway track must be protected against falling excavation material, stones and trees using suitable measures agreed with the railway operator. The geotechnical engineer of the municipality has prepared a protection proposal already coordinated with the railway. A contractor may propose an alternative protection solution, but it will only be accepted if approved by the railway operator; if rejected, the tendered solution must be carried out. Surface water drainage runs through inlet shafts into seepage shafts placed below the valley-side protection measures, which must be swapped where the subsoil is impermeable. At the petrol station, existing washed concrete slabs and edging will be restored.
