Предметът на  поръчката обхваща извършването на всички необходими дейности по приготвянето на храна по диетични менюта и доставката й до лечебното заведение за ежедневно трикратно хранене на пациенти - средно около 100 души. Диетичните менюта са изготвени съобразно "Сборник рецепти за диетични ястия за заведения за обществено хранене и лечебно-профилактични заведения", издание на ДИ ”Техника” от 1984 год. и изискванията на Наредба № 23 от 19.07.2005 г. за физиологичните норми за хранене на населението, издадена от Министерството на здравеопазването (обн. ДВ бр.63 от 02.08.2005 г.). Конкретните ястия по менюта и количества се уточняват ежедневно. Храната трябва да бъде пакетирана в подходящи индивидуални кетърингови опаковки за еднократна употреба. Изпълнителят трябва да разполага с транспорт за доставката и собствен персонал за раздаване на храната и за почистване след хранене. В съответствие с чл. 48, ал. 1 от ЗОП необходимите характеристики на предмета на обществената поръчка (Диетите, съобразно които трябва да бъдат подготвени и изпълнявани менютата) са подробно описани в Техническата спецификация.
