The contract covers the removal and transport of sludge from three wastewater treatment plants: the Cambados WWTP, the Ponte de Moreira WWTP and the Parada WWTP, as well as from the pumping (lifting) stations belonging to the Municipality of Maia. The service is to be provided for a period of 2 years. The works consist of collecting the sludge generated at these facilities and transporting it away for proper handling. All activities take place within the area served by the Municipality of Maia's wastewater infrastructure.
