Le port des Sablons à Saint-Malo fait l’objet d’un phénomène d’envasement important, dont l’évolution au fil des années est notamment liée aux apports sédimentaires provenant de l’océan et transitant par la passe d’entrée du port. Afin de caractériser précisément ce phénomène et d’évaluer les besoins d’entretien du port, des études spécifiques, notamment fondées sur la réalisation de levés bathymétriques, ont été menées. Ces investigations ont permis de quantifier les volumes de sédiments accumulés et d’identifier les secteurs nécessitant des opérations d’entretien, dans l’objectif de restaurer les conditions fonctionnelles du port, de limiter les nuisances liées à l’envasement et de maintenir des conditions satisfaisantes de sécurité et de navigabilité. Dans ce contexte, la SPL BRETAGNE PLAISANCE souhaite engager une première opération de travaux d’entretien par dragage sur certains secteurs du port des Sablons, dont la réalisation est envisagée à l’automne-hiver 2026-2027.
