Austria - Switchgear - 36 kV medium-voltage switchgear, Vorderwald substation

Vorarlberger Energienetze GmbH intends to carry out a complete modernisation of the Vorderwald substation, originally built in 1977, with the upgrade scheduled for 2028-2030. For this project a new 36 kV metal-clad, gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear with a double busbar is being procured. Because the new switchgear must be installed in the existing switchgear room, a temporary switchgear installation will be set up outside the operating building during the works. The tender covers the supply, installation and commissioning of the new 36 kV switchgear, delivered as a single contract.
