The scope includes maintenance and ancillary services such as project planning and coordination, commissioning, integration with the existing IT infrastructure, on-site training, support by an application specialist and full service. The system must process diverse liquid sample materials including serum, plasma, whole blood, urine and cerebrospinal fluid, offer flexible, easily adaptable programming for parallel handling of multiple studies with varying protocols, fully automate the aliquoting process and connect seamlessly to the existing Biobank Information Management System (BIMS).
