Gemeente Peel en Maas wil als werkgever via een collectief contract een verzekering bieden voor alle medewerkers die bij gedeeltelijke en volledige arbeidsongeschiktheid voorziet in een uitkering waarmee de (som van de) WIA-uitkering en het arbeidsongeschiktheidspensioen ABP samen worden aangevuld tot minimaal 70% bij gedeeltelijke arbeidsongeschiktheid en 10% van het verzekerd inkomen bij volledige arbeidsongeschiktheid WGA 80-100% en 5% bij IVA 80-100%. Het inkomen dient aangevuld te worden tot aan de deelnemer geldende AOW gerechtigde leeftijd. Premiebetaling vindt plaats zolang er sprake is van een verzekerbaar belang. . Met deze aanbesteding beoogt de gemeente een overeenkomst aan te gaan met één verzekeraar, die een collectieve arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering in overeenstemming met onze eisen en wensen biedt. Het gaat om 427 medewerkers en een te verzekeren loonsom van ca. 20.500.000 EUR. . De overeenkomst heeft een looptijd van drie (3) jaar, gaat in op 1 januari 2027 en eindigt op 1 januari 2030. De overeenkomst kan na de initiële looptijd verlengd worden met nog een periode van drie jaar.
