Description
Vitens maakt sinds 2003 gebruik van de software OPIR (Optimale Productie door Intelligente Regeling), onderdeel van Aquasuite. Deze software vormt een integraal onderdeel van de primaire bedrijfsvoering en ondersteunt de realtime optimalisatie van drinkwaterproductie en -distributie op basis van voorspellende algoritmen en geautomatiseerde sturing van het netwerk. De oplossing is diepgaand geïntegreerd in de technische infrastructuur en operationele processen van Vitens en wordt gefaseerd uitgerold binnen het gehele verzorgingsgebied, met afronding voorzien in 2026. Vitens wenst voor een periode van 5 jaar afspraken te maken ten aanzien van verlenging en voortzetting van het gebruik, onderhoud en support van OPIR. De jaarlijkse kosten van deze opdracht bedragen ongeveer €300.000.
