Naar aanleiding van de evaluatie over de Rohde & Schwarz systemen die tijdens de Nato Summit 2025 zijn ingezet op een maritiem platform zijn er lessons learned gedefinieerd, welke de gebreken voor een volledig operationeel maritiem platform bloot legt. Om de aangeschafte systemen van OS25 te kunnen gebruiken als volledig operationeel maritiem platform, is er een software en hardware uitbreiding nodig om de verschillende sensoren samen te brengen en beschikbaar te maken. De hardware en software die met elkaar samen moeten gaan werken zijn gemaakt door Rohde & Schwarz. Het intellectueel eigendom op deze producten berust bij deze leverancier. Deze leverancier verleent geen toegang aan andere leveranciers met betrekking tot de code van hun software en de werking van hun systemen. Om deze reden is ervoor gekozen om geen concurrentie te stellen.
