Description

In 2021 heeft de gemeente Almelo besloten haar 17 locaties voor Dagelijks Beheer, van waaruit het onderhoud in de stad en omgeving wordt uitgevoerd, grotendeels te centraliseren op één plek: Turfkade 17 te Almelo. De huidige huisvesting aan de Turfkade is te klein en verouderd, en daarom toe aan vervanging. De gemeente wil op deze plek een toekomstbestendige locatie realiseren, waar de diensten worden gecentraliseerd. Het nieuwe gebouw moet een representatieve uitstraling krijgen. Daarnaast moet het duurzaam zijn, zodat het gebouw zeker 40 jaar meegaat en voldoet aan de eisen van deze tijd. Het moet vooral een plek worden waar medewerkers prettig en efficiënt kunnen werken en trots zijn op hun werkomgeving. De doelstelling van het project is dan ook: het ontwerpen en realiseren van nieuwe gebouwen en opstallen, inclusief de sloop van de bestaande panden, en in fases de nieuwe verharding en ondergrondse infrastructuur aanleggen.
