Description

Het Neurochemisch laboratorium voert analyses uit van eiwitten die relevant zijn voor neurologische aandoeningen in bloed en hersenvocht. Deze eiwitten komen in zeer lage concentraties voor, waarvoor ultrasensitieve technologieeen nodig zijn om deze eiwitten betrouwbaar te meten. Daarnaast wordt het steeds duidelijker dat het meten van profielen van hersenspecifieke eiwitten grote toegevoegde waarde heeft voor zulke neurologische aandoeningen - bijvoorbeeld om subtypes binnen een ziekte in kaart te brengen. Deze metingen worden uitgevoerd voor klinisch onderzoek en in de ontwikkeling van behandelingen voor neurologische aandoeningen. De NULISA technologie is uniek in dat het ultrasensitief kan meten, meerdere eiwitten tegelijkertijd kan meten, en dat in zeer kleine volumina en met groot gebruiksgemak. Daarnaast is het mogelijk zelf nieuwe bepalingen te ontwikkelen en is het mogelijk dat de firma makkelijk nieuwe bepalingen toevoegt aan hun portfolio op basis van key opinion. 1 The ARGO® HT System is a fully automated, high-throughput precision proteomics platform for ultra-high sensitivity analysis across a range of multiplex levels to support broad biomarker profiling and translation of validated biomarkers into clinical use. 1
