In de omgeving van de locatie Ribesstraat-Van Tuyllplein- Prunusstraat heeft Woningcorporatie Stichting Woonservice IJsselland eerder gedateerde PéGé-woningen in wijk De Ooi gesloopt en deze vervangen door nieuwe levensbestendige grondgebonden woningen en appartementen. Deze zijn recent opgeleverd. De wijze waarop de nieuwe woningen worden gepositioneerd heeft gevolgen voor de openbare ruimte. Doel en resultaat De vervangende nieuwbouw biedt kansen om de openbare ruimte rondom de woningen aan te pakken. Deze dient opnieuw en duurzaam klimaatadaptief te worden ingericht waarbij gelijktijdig de riolering, daterend uit de jaren ’60, wordt vervangen, en er een apart riool voor de afvoer van regenwater wordt aangelegd.
