Description

The production of PPP is a multilateral exercise involving the NSIs of the participating countries and Eurostat, operating under the framework of the European Comparison Programme (ECP). Eurostat plays an important role in this process by coordinating with the statisticians and data experts from various countries. Eurostat’s work involves collecting, harmonising and analysing data to ensure consistency and comparability across countries. Maintenance and further development of the PPP database and its associated tools, which are used for the calculation and aggregation of the PPP for all countries participating in the ECP as well as other countries under Eurostat’s responsibility. This includes the provision of a helpdesk to users of the PPP tools as well.
