The City of Luxembourg is seeking a consulting engineer in technical engineering for the renovation, transformation and energy upgrading of a residential block in the protected Gare district. The block comprises 5 houses probably dating from the 1940s, covering around 1,360 m2. The houses will be converted into small housing units for people in need. The mission includes energy renovation of the thermal envelope while respecting the architectural qualities of the built heritage. It is a medium-scale project; the exact number of units remains to be defined after further studies. The procedure is a call for candidature leading to a negotiated contract.
