Beschafft wird ein Lasersystem, welches an der Synchrotron Lichtquelle Schweiz (SLS 2.0) für Pump-Probe-Experimente an den zwei Strahllinien SuperXAS und Phoenix eingesetzt werden soll. Da diese Experimente im selben Gebäude durchgeführt werden, muss der Laser zwischen den beiden Strahllinien mobil sein. Für die Pump-Probe-Spektroskopie muss der Laser abstimmbare Wellenlängen im Ultraviolettbereich (UV) bis zum nahen Infrarotbereich (nahes IR) liefern. Die Laserpulsdauer muss kürzer sein als die Röntgenpulse, sodass Pulse im Bereich von einigen zehn Pikosekunden (ps) oder kürzer erforderlich sind. Eine effiziente Anregung der untersuchten Materialien erfordert eine hohe Wiederholungsrate im Bereich von 40-131 kHz in Kombination mit einer hohen Pulsenergie.
