Το έργο αφορά την πλήρη μελέτη και κατασκευή του Αυτοκινητόδρομου Δένειας - Ακακίου - Αστρομερίτη, 4 λωρίδων κυκλοφορίας, συνολικού μήκους περίπου 18 km. Θα συνδέει τον αυτοκινητόδρομο Λευκωσίας-Κοκκινοτριμιθιάς με τον αυτοκινητόδρομο Αστρομερίτη-Ευρύχου και θα διέρχεται νότια των χωριών Ακακίου, Περιστερώνας και Αστρομερίτη. Η τυπική διατομή περιλαμβάνει 4 λωρίδες κυκλοφορίας 3,5 μ έκαστη με κεντρική νησίδα και με ασφαλτοστρωμένα ερείσματα εκατέρωθεν, πλάτους 3,0 μ. Οι κατασκευαστικές εργασίες, μεταξύ άλλων περιλαμβάνουν 4 ανισόπεδους κόμβους, τη συμπλήρωση ενός υφιστάμενου ανισόπεδου κόμβου, χωματουργικές και ασφαλτικές εργασίες, εργασίες αποχέτευσης ομβρίων περιλαμβανομένων εργασιών κατασκευής κλειστού συστήματος απορροής ομβρίων οδοστρώματος, τροποποιήσεις υφιστάμενων Υπηρεσιών, εγκαταστάσεις νέων Υπηρεσιών, εγκατάσταση οδικού φωτισμού, κοιλαδογέφυρες, υπέργειες και υπόγειες διαβάσεις, ορθογωνικούς οχετούς και τοίχους αντιστήριξης.
