Cantonal road no. 104, Rorschacherberg/Rorschach: Disability Equality Act, 'Zentralfriedhof' bus stop

The civil engineering office of the Canton of St. Gallen plans to adapt the 'Zentralfriedhof' bus stops in the direction of Thal and towards Goldach to the latest needs of public transport. The main aim is barrier-free use in accordance with the Disability Equality Act (BehiG). The adjacent pedestrian crossing will be adapted and safety increased. The section of cantonal road no. 104 to be rehabilitated is about 80 metres long near the central cemetery. Works include full reconstruction of road and footpath, pavement replacement, a central island, paving, drainage adaptation, utility works for drainage, water and lighting, a retaining wall and landscaping. Key quantities: 635 m3 excavation, 482 m3 foundation, 530 m kerbs, 381 t asphalt.
