Extension of NIMIS (National Integrated Medical Imaging System) for a period of 12 months. The NIMIS Programme continues to deliver substantial benefits across the Health Service especially to the health care facilities that have deployed the NIMIS solution. Radiology and other NIMIS imaging departments have been transformed from a paper and film-based set of processes to a digital environment. The NIMIS system is now a mission critical system for those sites operating the solution. The extension of a 12-month duration will provide an opportunity for the HSE to explore options for appropriate longer-term contractual arrangements.
