An Post is running a call for competition for outbound transportation (linehaul) services by road from the Republic of Ireland to Germany. The provider will transport parcels from the Portlaoise Mails Centre at Clonminium Industrial Estate, Co. Laois, to Lünsingskuhle 70, 46282 Dorsten-Feldmark in Germany. One dedicated trailer is required Tuesday to Saturday, departing Portlaoise at 16:00 and arriving in Dorsten between 06:00 and 08:00. Additional trailers may be needed during busy periods from October to December and when volumes exceed normal levels, with minor schedule changes possible at Easter and on bank holidays including UK bank holidays. An Post seeks a cost efficient, competent and sustainable service.
