Þjónustan felur í sér framleiðslu og flutning á tilbúnum hádegisverðarmáltíðum fyrir nemendur og starfsmenn vegna Grunnskóla Hornafjarðar. Nemendur eru í kringum 250 og starfsmenn 20-40. Fjöldi nemenda og starfsmanna getur sveiflast lítilsháttar á milli skólaára og verður fjöldinn endurskoðaður í samráði við birgja í upphafi hvers skólaárs. Miðað er við allt að 180 daga á skólaárinu sem hefst að jafnaði upp úr 20. ágúst ár hvert og lýkur um í byrjun júní. Útboðsgögn verða afhent í rafræna útboðskerfinu Ajour frá og með kl. 15:00 fimmtudaginn 30. apríl 2026 og skal tilboðum skilað rafrænt í útboðskerfinu eigi síðar en kl. 13:00 þriðjudaginn 2. júní 2026.
