Dans le cadre de ses compétences, la Ville de Saint-Benoît est engagée dans la restructuration et le développement de ses équipements sportifs. Le gymnase Christophe Ramon est inutilisable depuis Mars 2025, ayant subit de nombreux dégâts suite au passage du cyclone Garance La Ville envisage la reconstruction du gymnase, pour permettre : • d’améliorer l’offre sportive de la commune de Saint-Benoît, • de diversifier l’offre de disciplines pratiquées dans le gymnase, • d’offrir des conditions adaptées pour la pratique sportive, • de garantir des conditions d’organisation des compétitions qui correspondent aux exigences des fédérations des sports développés.
