Le service culturel de la commune de Condom a subi un incendie le vendredi 12 juin. Il s'agit de l'aile ouest du cloître classé monument historique. La partie bureau administratif a été entièrement ravagée, y compris la toiture ; ainsi que la partie comprenant des livres anciens (archives et livres historiques). Environ 385 m² de surface de plancher sont impactés, comprenant le rez-de-chaussée de voûtes qui ont souffert de l'eau, un premier étage incendié et les combles également. La mission de maitrise d'oeuvre sera confiée à un architecte qualifié conformément aux articles R621-28 à R621-31 du code du patrimoine. La qualification d'économiste de la construction devra être obligatoirement représentée. Le maître d'oeuvre est libre ensuite libre de constituer une équipe pluridisciplinaire en fonction des compétences qu'il juge nécessaires à la réalisation de la mission
