Description

El personal de FGV realiza desplazamientos a diario dentro de la red como parte de sus funciones dentro del ámbito laboral propio de sus puestos de trabajo en FGV, necesitando para ellos de vehículos diferentes al propio ferrocarril, pues es necesario transportar material y herramientas, o desplazarse a puntos de la red que no disponen de parada, entre otros. El 29 de octubre de 2024 una DANA provocó un aumento de caudal de magnitud sin precedentes en el barranco del Poyo, en el término de Paiporta. Su desbordamiento provocó la inundación de gran parte de las instalaciones y equipamientos del complejo de València Sud, sede central de Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana. Dicha inundación arrastró e inutilizó la mayoría de los vehículos que Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana dispone para las actividades de mantenimiento y de gestión de la operación. Como consecuencia de esta pérdida, y de manera inmediata, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana licitó el expediente E24/101 “CONTRATO DE EMERGENCIA PARA PARA EL SUMINISTRO PROVISIONAL DE RENTING DE VEHÍCULOS DE CARRETERA, MOTIVADO POR EL SINIESTRO DE LOS VEHÍCULOS AFECTADOS POR EL DESBORDAMIENTO DEL BARRANDO DEL POYO”. Dicho expediente establece un plazo de prestación del servicio de 1 año, siendo la fecha de finalización de este el 2 de diciembre de 2025. Además, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana tiene necesidad de renovar ciertos vehículos, por antigüedad, que sobrevivieron a las inundaciones y de ampliar el parque móvil como consecuencia de las actividades operativas y de mantenimiento, tanto en Metrovalencia como en Tram d’Alacant.
