Description

El Centro Penitenciario de Puerto I II y III se halla situado a 40 km aproximadamente de la localidad de Cádiz y a 20 Km de la localidad de Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). El objeto de este contrato no es otro que asegurar la prestación de este servicio público esencial, garantizando el desplazamiento de los trabajadores desde su localidad de residencia hasta el Centro Penitenciario en condiciones de máxima seguridad y velando por su integridad. Dicho desplazamiento, precisamente por la relevancia de la función que desempeñan los trabajadores de Instituciones Penitenciarias en los términos expresados anteriormente, exige necesariamente unas características específicas de confidencialidad y medidas de prevención y seguridad. A todo ello se suma la circunstancia de que, en la mayoría de los casos, los centros penitenciarios se encuentran ubicados en zonas alejadas de los núcleos urbanos lo que hace más imprescindible este servicio para garantizar la presencia de los empleados públicos en su puesto de trabajo en los distintos turnos y horarios.
