Description

La Corporación RTVE tiene actualmente suscrito un contrato con una empresa para prestar el servicio de codificación y multiplexado de las señales TV y radio de RTVE, así como el de transporte y difusión de las mismas a través de TDT. El expediente que lo ampara es el S-10071-2016 ( SERVICIOS DE TRANSPORTE DE SEÑALES DE TV Y RADIO, Y DE EMISIÓN EN TDT ), cuyo contrato tiene el siguiente número de referencia: 2016/005436. Su plazo de ejecución comenzó el 1 de junio de 2017 por un periodo inicial de 4 años para el lote 1 y de 3 años para el lote 2, a los que podía prorrogarse -y se ha prorrogado- 2 y 3 años más respectivamente, por lo que la fecha de finalización de ambos lotes será el próximo 31 de mayo de 2023. Con el fin de que RTVE pueda seguir ofreciendo a todos los usuarios finales el servicio público que tiene encomendado y por la propia esencia de RTVE de emitir lo que produce, el servicio anterior debe seguir manteniéndose plenamente operativo.
