En el artículo 9 del Reglamento de Acción Social del personal de la Universidad de Cantabria aprobado en el IV Estudio de Organización de los Servicios Universitarios de la UC 2010-2012, por acuerdo del Consejo de Gobierno y Consejo Social de fecha 26 de mayo y 7 de junio de 2010, respectivamente, se establecen el catalogo de ayudas para el personal de la Universidad de Cantabria por lo que se concierta un seguro colectivo de vida y accidentes, para cubrir los riesgos de Incapacidad Permanente, Total y Absoluta, fallecimiento por cualquier horas. Por lo que es necesario satisfacer esta necesidad y amparar a los asegurados de los accidentes que les puedan ocurrir tanto en la vida profesional como privada.
