Description

La empresa pública Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana tiene encomendada la operación y mantenimiento de las líneas ferroviarias y tranviarias dedicadas al transporte de viajeros dependientes de la Generalitat Valenciana. Dentro de las labores de mantenimiento de las líneas ferroviarias de la provincia de Valencia, encomendadas al Área de Mantenimiento, se encuentran las tareas de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de las instalaciones eléctricas de baja tensión, existentes en las Estaciones de Superficie, Apeaderos, Paradas de Tranvía, Complejos Administrativos y Talleres de Metrovalencia. Para el desarrollo de estos trabajos, FGV no dispone de medios propios para su realización, y como en el resto de líneas actuales, ha recurrido a contratos con empresas externas para la formalización de sucesivos contratos de servicios de mantenimiento para este tipo de instalaciones.
