El objeto del contrato comprende la adquisición de un Sistema de Información que permita automatizar la gestión de los recursos humanos y la gestión económica y financiera de la ULPGC, así como los servicios necesarios para su implantación como sistema gestionado en infraestructura proporcionada por el proveedor. También se incluirá dentro del contrato la prestación del servicio de mantenimiento desde la entrada en producción del sistema hasta la finalización del contrato, incluyendo el mantenimiento correctivo, asistencial, evolutivo tecnológico y la evolución normativa aplicable a los procesos de gestión implantados. Todo ello con el fin de sustituir el actual sistema de información de gestión de recursos humanos y de gestión económica y financiera desarrollado a medida principalmente con personal propio de la Universidad y que se considera obsoleto y difícil de mantener y evolucionar en el futuro.
