La actuación que se pretende proyectar tiene por finalidad impulsar la regeneración urbana de un ámbito residencial tradicional que presenta importantes deficiencias funcionales derivadas de la antigüedad y obsolescencia de sus infraestructuras urbanas, así como de las limitaciones de accesibilidad y movilidad existentes en el viario público (las calles son muy estrechas, tanto en calzada como en aceras, los coches aparcan en la calzada sin ancho suficiente para ello, ocasionando que los vecinos no puedan salir de sus casas por que hay un vehículo aparcado que impide salir de la puerta -especialmente, personas mayores con andador o silla de ruedas que no puede maniobra, y servicios de emergencia que no pueden acceder con la camilla-, y los vehículos no pueden circular por que no hay ancho de circulación disponible, poniendo en riesgo el acceso de vehículos de mayor tamaño, especialmente, de emergencia)
