La Universitat de València (en adelante UVEG), para el ejercicio y desarrollo de su actividad en los ámbitos docente e investigador, administrativo y de relaciones institucionales, se ha de proveer del software adecuado para resolver las necesidades que conlleva el tratamiento colaborativo de documentos, así como las derivadas de la docencia y de los puestos con competencias en diseño.1.- Respecto al tratamiento colaborativo de documentos, necesita un software que permita compartir con facilidad archivos PDF para que se visualicen, revisen, impriman, comenten y firmen, e incluso se realice el seguimiento de su progreso, desde cualquier dispositivo y cualquier ubicación. Además de poder abrir e interactuar con todo tipo de contenido PDF, incluidos formularios y contenido multimedia, y poder exportar e importar documentos en otros formatos a documentos PDF’s definitivos.2.- En cuanto a las necesidades de la docencia y de los puestos con competencias de diseño, se requiere un software que reúna las siguientes funcionalidades: fotografía, vídeo, diseño web, experiencia de usuario y redes sociales; aspectos esenciales integrados como paletas de colores, familias de fuentes, posibilidad de colaboración con cualquier persona desde cualquier parte. Ello además del correcto seguimiento de la actividad de autoaprendizaje y docente.Los productos Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Adobe Creative Cloud Pro y Adobe Creative Cloud Pro SDL, poseen las funcionalidades requeridas para atender todas las necesidades de la UVEG, siendo los únicos de todo el mercado que cumplen dichas condiciones en su totalidad, no habiendo otros productos a su nivel.Además, debido a los contratos suscritos por la CRUE con Adobe, los productos Acrobat Pro DC y Creative Cloud Pro son los que utilizan las universidades españolas, en lo que respecta a tratamiento de textos PDF y diseño, respectivamente.
