Description

La Unidad de Electrónica desarrolla instrumentación electrónica para experimentos científicos y tecnológicos de proyectos de investigación. Los instrumentos que desarrolla se caracterizan por disponer de elementos hardware desarrollados específicamente en la propia unidad, entre los que se incluyen tarjetas de circuito impreso y circuitos integrados de aplicación específica, que operan en ocasiones en condiciones extremas. Con el suministro e instalación de un equipo de caracterización de circuitos electrónicos a temperaturas ultra-bajas con interfaces para señales de alta y baja velocidad se pretende disponer de un equipo que permita la caracterización y validación de circuitos electrónicos e integrados de aplicación específica desarrollados en condiciones de operación a temperaturas ultra bajas (criogenia). Dichos circuitos forman parte de instrumentación científica que debe operar en condiciones extremas, por lo que resulta imprescindible contar con una estación de pruebas que permita reproducir dichas condiciones, así como integrar las interfaces necesarias para el manejo de señales electrónicas de alta y baja velocidad, con el fin de medir y evaluar de forma ágil los parámetros críticos que garanticen las prestaciones requeridas.
