The buyer is procuring the supply of electrical energy for the duration of the contract. Supply begins on the date specified in a written notice or accession statement sent by the consumer to the supplier, which sets out the consumer's details. A key requirement states that the country of origin of the goods cannot be the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus or the Islamic Republic of Iran. Settlement periods are calendar months, with monthly acceptance-and-transfer acts issued by the fifth day of the following month. Payment is made by bank transfer to the supplier's account with a special usage regime: an advance of up to 30 percent of the expected contracted volumes by the tenth of the settlement period, and final settlement by the twentieth day of the following month.
