Hanke esemeks on väliskülastajate piiriuuringu läbiviimine ankeetküsitlusena Eesti suurimates piiripunktides ja piiriületuskohtades 12-kuulisel perioodil (eeldatavasti 2026. a suvest 2027. a suveni), eesmärgiga saada teavet väliskülastajate profiili ning külastajaid ja reise iseloomustavate näitajate kohta (sh kulutused kokku ja kululiigiti, reisieesmärk, külastatud kohad, majutuse liik, reisikorraldus, reisiseltskond, reisi kestus, reisitegevused, reisimotivatsioon, eelmised reisid Eestisse, infoallikad, rahulolu reisiga, Eesti soovitamine sihtkohana jne).
