ewb betreibt seit 2013 im Norden Berns von der EZF (Energiezentrale Forsthaus) eine Dampf-Fernwärme Leitung für die Versorgung der arabern mit Prozesswärme (benötigt u.a. für Biogasaufbereitung und Schlammtrocknung). Die Dampfleitung wird über mehrere Entwässerungspunkte entwässert. Diese sind in begehbaren Schachtbauwerken (SBW) untergebracht. Das abzuführende, heisse Kondensat «Schachtkondensat» mit bis zu 20% Nachdampf Anteil wird in die Kondensat-Rückführ-Leitung (Kondensat-RF) geleitet. Das in der arabern anfallende Dampfkondensat wird dort gesammelt und als Kondensat-RF über eine Pumpe zur EZF zurückgefördert.  Gegenstand dieses Vertrages ist die Sanierung der Dampfleitung EZF (Rohrleitungsbau). Die Leistungen umfassen im Wesentlichen die Ausführungsplanung, Lieferung, Bauausführung/ Montage, Inbetriebnahme, Werksabnahme und Dokumentation.  Die detaillierten Leistungen sind im technischen Beschrieb_SBW und der technischen Spezifikation_SBW (Teile B1 und B2) sowie im Leistungsverzeichnis (Teil C2) festgehalten.
