CERN is procuring engineering design services for the AWAKE Run-2c vapour source and plasma cell system, focused on the new central injection region separating the self-modulation and acceleration stages. The scope covers mechanical design, 3D CAD modelling, vacuum and beamline interfaces, beam diagnostics and laser dump concepts, thermal and system simulations, and design documentation. Deliverables include consolidated system models, integration layouts, updated specifications, simulation reports and an implementation strategy meeting CERN infrastructure and safety requirements. Only design and integration planning is procured; fabrication and installation are excluded.
