De Hofgaarden Nobelhorst Almere - development and realisation of homes

The municipality of Almere is seeking, through a tender procedure with preselection, one development party or a combination of parties for the development and realisation of up to 279 ground-based homes in De Hofgaarden (building fields 28 and 29), part of Nobelhorst phase 5. The programme includes 149 affordable homes (at least 50 affordable rental homes and at least 50 affordable owner-occupied homes) and 130 market-rate owner-occupied homes. The area also includes seven apartment buildings by housing association 'GoedeStede' and a new primary school. Bidders must present an integrated vision for a contemporary garden village, with attention to design quality, sustainability and social cohesion, plus a contribution to community building, including a neighbourhood room and a plan for the first five years.
