Opgaven omfatter tømning af septiktanke, trix-tanke og andre bundfældningstanke (i det følgende benævnt bundfældningstanke) i Hjørring Kommune, der er omfattet af Hjørring Kommunes tømningsregulativ. I henhold til gældende regulativ skal alle bundfældningstanke ved helårshuse tømmes én gang pr. år. Tanke ved sommerhuse skal som minimum tømmes hvert andet år. Sommerhuse, der benyttes til helårshus, skal dog tømmes en gang om året. Visse bundfældningstanke tømmes flere gange årligt efter grundejerens ønske og behov. Tømningen skal udføres i perioden 1. marts til 15. november. Den ordinære tømning skal være afsluttet den 15. oktober. Opfølgningsrunder skal være afsluttet den 15. november. Der udføres ikke tømninger i uge 30. Der skal påregnes ca 6.200 tømninger om året.
