Udbudsprocessen omfatter en kontrakt til Ordregivers anskaffelse af transport og behandling af A2-træ til genanvendelse fra Vejle Kommunes genbrugspladser. Tilbudsgiver skal forestå afhentning, transport, behandling og genanvendelse af det indsamlede A2-træ fra Ordregivers fire (4) genbrugspladser samt stille nødvendige containere til rådighed på RessourceCenter Vejle i hele kontraktperioden. Tilbudsgiver skal sikre, at størst mulig andel af træet genanvendes, og at restprodukter håndteres i overensstemmelse med gældende lovgivning, herunder affaldsbekendtgørelsen. I 2025 var mængden for træ til genanvendelse (A2-træ) å 6.462 tons og antallet af afhentninger for et læs á to (2) fyldte containere på 716 fra Ordregivers fire (4) genbrugspladser. Mængden og antal afhentninger af træ til genanvendelse (A2-træ) forventes at variere hen over året samt mellem de enkelte år i kontraktperioden. Det forventes, at de fremtidige mængder og antal afhentninger vil ligge på omtrent samme niveau. Den forventede volumen i tilbudslisten er alene vejledende og ikke bindende for Ordregiver, da de baserer sig på historiske tal.
