Billund Lufthavn A/S inviterer til markedsdialog om et kommende udbud af administration og drift af Billund Airports ubemandede tankstation på adressen Passagerterminalen 2, 7190 Billund. Det nuværende brændstofanlæg drives af OK. Kontrakten ophører ved udgangen af april 2027, hvorfor der er behov for en fornyet konkurrenceudsættelse. Anlægget er ubemandet. Der er pt. fire (4) standere til selvbetjening, hvorfra der kan tankes benzin og diesel. Billund Lufthavn A/S ejer den grundlæggende infrastruktur på grunden. Herved forstås tankanlæg, underjordisk rørføring og installationer, pumpeøer, teknik-bygning, tagkonstruktion og områdets belægning. Den grundlæggende infrastruktur forventes at blive stillet til rådighed for den valgte koncessionshavers drift af brændstofanlægget. Billund Lufthavn A/S har et ønske om fortsat at stille optankningsmuligheder til rådighed for de mange passagerer og forbipasserende, ligeledes er Billund Lufthavn A/S særligt opmærksom på det dalende forbrug, der generelt set er af fossile brændstoffer og har derfor et ønske om at få markedets inputs til at sikre at koncessionskontrakten fortsat er attraktiv at indgå i for begge parter.
