Udbuddet er et genudbud af den tidligere delaftale 1 i det samlede udbud af RACONS og batteri-celler (udbudsbekendtgørelse 162952-2026), idet udbuddet af denne delaftale 1 blev annulleret, da de indkomne tilbud ikke opfyldte mindstekravet til teknisk og faglig formåen. Dette udbud angår således tildeling af en kontrakt vedrørende anskaffelse af RACONS. De nye RACONS skal opsættes på land omkring de arktiske farvande og skal fungere som elektronisk navigationshjælp, som bruges til søs. Se nærmere mindstekrav til RACONS i Kravspecifikationen.
