L'objecte del contracte es l'execució de les obres contemplades al Projecte millora i estabilització de talussos al vial de continuació de la carretera BV-4346 al Tm. de La Quar, redactat a l’octubre de 2025, per l'enginyer de camins, canals i ports Oriol Dalmau i Roset, núm. col·legiat NE-340C. La carretera BV-4346, de titularitat de la Diputació de Barcelona, finalitza oficialment al PK 5+193, a la sortida nord del nucli de La Quar. A partir d’aquest punt, la via continua com a carretera de titularitat municipal sense denominació oficial, que dona accés a diverses masies i finques rurals, entre les quals destaca la finca de la Baumeta. És en aquest tram municipal immediatament posterior al PK 5+193 on s’han detectat diversos punts amb despreniments puntuals i degradació superficial dels talussos de desmunt, especialment després d’episodis de pluja intensa. Aquesta situació ha provocat l’acumulació de terres i blocs sobre la calçada, generant risc per a la seguretat del trànsit, motiu pel qual l’Ajuntament de La Quar, com a titular del vial, ha promogut la redacció del present projecte per definir les actuacions necessàries de sanejament i estabilització. Aquestes actuacions es consideren obres de manteniment de la infraestructura viària municipal
