El servei consisteix en la prestació del servei de prevenció i control de la Legionel·la spp. a les instal·lacions municipals, incloent un programa anual de vigilància i control sanitari amb l'elaboració d'autocontrols, actuacions de vigilància, neteja, desinfecció i control analític, basats en el sistema d'anàlisi de perills i punts de control crítics segons la normativa vigent.
