Execució de la Fase II de les obres del Projecte bàsic i d’execució d’actuacions C.E.4 i C.E.7 de l’Estudi de mobilitat i seguretat viària de Sant Joan de Vilatorrada, corresponents a actuacions pendents de la Fase I i a dues actuacions addicionals aprovades per la Comissió de Mobilitat i Senyalització Municipal. La contractació comprèn l’execució de les actuacions incloses en l’actuació C.E.4 Millora de la visibilitat en els passos de vianants amb dèficit, corresponents a les fitxes 34, 42 i 43 del projecte, així com dues actuacions addicionals de característiques anàlogues a la fitxa 34. Els treballs consisteixen principalment en la millora de la visibilitat i l’accessibilitat de cinc passos de vianants situats als principals itineraris escolars del municipi, mitjançant l’ampliació de les orelles de vorera, la reducció dels problemes de visibilitat generats per l’estacionament de vehicles i l’adaptació dels elements urbans per garantir unes condicions adequades de seguretat i accessibilitat per als vianants. L’actuació s’emmarca en les mesures de millora de la seguretat viària i dels recorreguts escolars segurs subvencionades pel Servei Català de Trànsit.
