Die SBB AG betreibt eine Flotte von Montagewagen für den Fahrleitungsbau, die das Ende ihrer Lebensdauer erreicht hat. Unter diesen Ausschreibungsbedingungen und sämtlichen dazugehörigen Unterlagen soll eine neue, modernere und klimaneutrale Flotte von Cardellino Fahrleitung-Montagewagen (FL-MtWg) beschafft werden. Die neue Flotte von FL-MtWg muss neuesten Anforderungen bezüglich Technik, Normen, Sicherheit und Energietechnik entsprechen. Die ausgeschriebene Leistung beinhaltet im Wesentlichen die Entwicklung, Planung, Herstellung, Inbetriebsetzung, Zulassung, Lieferung und Betreuung (zumindest während der Gewährleistungsphase) der Fahrzeuge sowie die Dokumentation und die Schulung für die Fahrzeuge. Auf Wunsch kann die Firma, Flachwagen (Typ Lns) von der SBB zu Selbstkosten kaufen, als Basis für die entsprechenden Aufbauten. Eine Beistellung der Wagen durch die SBB ist ebenfalls möglich. Bei einer allfälligen Beistellung werden die Kosten der Flachwagen inklusive einer Handlingsgebühr gemäss Verkaufsvertrag auf den angebotenen Preis aufgerechnet, um die Vergleichbarkeit der Angebote sicherzustellen.
