Description
Voor het project "Vervangen regeling Ventilo's - Plein/aan 5" is een vernieuwing van de gebouwbeheersystemen (BMS-regelingen) noodzakelijk. De ventilatieregelingen op Plein laan 5 maken integraal deel uit van de technische insta llaties op de campus en moeten worden geïntegreerd in het bestaand gebouwbeheersysteem. Op alle andere gebouwen van de VUB (campus Etterbeek en campus Jette) wordt exclusief gebruikgemaakt van Johnson Controls BMS, zowel voor monitoring, alarmopvolging, energiebeheer als voor onderhoud. Hierdoor vormt Johnson Controls de standaard SMS-partner binnen onze technische omgeving. Het gebruik van een ander BMS-platform binnen eenzelfde technische cluster zou leiden tot incompatibiliteit van software, dubbele servers, moeilijkheden in redundantie, en aanzienlijk hogere opvolgings- en onderhoudskosten.
