The Province of East Flanders (Belgium), in Zelzate, intends to carry out works along the cycle highway F423-F424. The works include completing cycle highway F423 with the construction of a two-way cycle path on the former railway bed between Denderdreve and Groene Briel; arranging the Tweede-Gidsenlaan as a cycle zone between Assenedesteenweg and Groene Briel, which also forms the connection between F423/F424 and F40; and constructing F424 between F423 and the cycle path in the Netherlands, including the building of a bicycle tunnel under railway line 55.
