Belgium - Ambulance services - Framework agreement for inter-hospital patient transport

The contract covers non-urgent patient transport between hospitals in Belgium. It includes four parts: non-urgent lying-down transport of a patient on discharge from a hospital and admission to another recognised hospital or care institution, carried out with the ambulance of the referring hospital and accompanied by two ambulancemen from that hospital; lying-down inter-hospital transport on Sundays and public holidays; the same transport during nights; non-urgent seated transport carried out by taxi; and non-urgent lying-down transport by a taxi company using vehicles adapted for wheelchair users. The work is organised as a framework agreement.
